Dr Gary ROSENBERG, Professor,
The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, USA
Gary Rosenberg, Ph.D.,
is currently the Edith J. Baerwald Professor of Community
Medicine and Preventive Medicine, and Chairman of the
Division of Social Work and Behavioral Science at the
Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His previous position
was as Executive Vice President of the Mount Sinai Medical
Center and he was a member of the senior management
staff for 28 years. Dr. Rosenberg is the recipient of
numerous awards, including the Outstanding Alumni Award
from Hunter College and Adelphi University, and the
Founders Day Award from New York University. He is a
fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and a member
of the Social Work Pioneers Group. Dr. Rosenberg maintains
an active role on non-profit boards and is the President
of the Board of the Center for Social Administration,
President of the Board of Senior Health Partners, and
a member of the Board of Directors of Union Settlement
and Job Path, an agency serving mentally retarded and
developmentally disabled adults. Dr. Rosenberg is the
Editor-in-Chief of two peer-reviewed journals on health
policy and practices and on mental health. He has written
or edited 12 books, 22 book chapters and is the author
of over 60 articles in professional peer-reviewed journals.
